David Bruce Bruton, age 74, passed away on December 2, 2017.

He was born to Major and Virginia (Link) in Silver City, NM.

He was a graduate from Zuni High School, Veteran of the Army National Guard, attended NMSU, and completed Instrument Fitter Training.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn, his sister Lilith Baker, brother Link, sons Dave and JR, daughter Melissa, five grandchildren, five great-grand children, and many nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Doug, and his son Zach.

David was a master fence builder, loved working outdoors, hunting, fishing, cutting wood, farming, and sitting around the fire enjoying friends and family company.

Services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017, in Fence Lake, NM at the Community Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Soon followed by a potluck at Fence Lake Community School.
