Debra M. Brito, 48, a lifelong resident of Lordsburg passed away Sunday December 3, 2017 at Lovelace Hospital in Albuquerque.

Debra was born March 30, 1969 in Silver City to Ramon and Antonia (Martinez) Ortiz. She graduated from Lordsburg High School in 1987 and worked at Western Bank for approximately 17 years. Most recently Debbie was a receptionist at Hidalgo Medical Services and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

She is survived by her husband Enrique "Kiki" Brito of Lordsburg; her children, Enrique "EJ" Brito Jr. and Kandice Gomez of Lordsburg; brothers, Manuel Sanchez of Tucson, AZ, Tommy Sanchez of Lordsburg, Daniel Ortiz of Andrews, TX, Raymond Ortiz, Ramon Ortiz, Miguel Ortiz, Pablo Ortiz, and Alex Ortiz all of Lordsburg; sisters, Jackie De La Garza pf Lordsburg, Michelle Sanchez of Tucson, AZ, and Ermila Ortiz of Rio Rancho, NM, and 3 grandchildren.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents.

A rosary will be Thursday December 14, 2017 at 9 o'clock in the morning at St. Joseph's Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass will begin at 10 o'clock with Fr. Jude Okonkwo officiating. Cremation has taken place at Baca's Mimbres Crematory.
