Antonio B. Jimenez, 79 of Lordsburg, passed away December 21, 2017 at Fort Bayard Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Antonio was born January 6, 1938 in Gary, NM to Felix and Antonia (Mendez) Jimenez. He served his country honorably in United States Marine Corps and was a welder for most of his life. Antonio was an avid sports fan, enjoying all sports, especially baseball and going to watch his Mavericks. He was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lordsburg.

Antonio is survived by his wife Olivia; daughters, Dolores Cole, Ida Jimenez and Patricia Jimenez all of Spokane, WA; stepchildren, Ronnie Razo, Cynthia Razo and Christopher Razo;, sisters, Estella Guerrero and Isabel Tarango of Lordsburg; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Jeremy, Celeste, Michael, Benjamin, Tabitha, Abigal and one great grandchild, Layla. Plus many nephews, nieces and cousins. Antonio was preceded in death by two sisters, Carmen Acosta and Dolores Contreras two brothers Felix and Apoliano Jimenez and a stepson, Jerry Ortega.

At Antonio's request, cremation has taken place and inurnment of his ashes was performed on Dec 26th in a private ceremony at Shakespeare Cemetery in Lordsburg.
