Charles "Charlie" Thacker 75 entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Gila Regional Medical Center.

Charlie was born in Alma, NM, graduated from Reserve High School, and studied at New Mexico State University and El Paso where he studied to be an Electronics Technician. He was employed by Tyrone Mines as a machinist where he retired.

Charlie enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

He once had a dog named Sterling. His dog Bell will miss him.

Charlie will be missed by many, but will always remain in our heart.

Charlie is survived by a friend and a former wife Renee Thacker, one son, Martin who lives in Kansas, and his sister Alice Estrada who resides in Reserve, NM.

Charlie was preceded in death by one son, Daniel, and his parents Charlie and Isabel Thacker (Glenwood NM), brothers Billy Thacker (Glenwood, NM), George Thacker (Silver City, NM), and Jerry Thacker (Cliff, NM), sisters Lupe George (Glenwood, NM), Antonio Mc Keen (Glenwood, NM), Lydia Kiehne (Las Cruces, NM), and Bonnie Milligan (Reserve, NM).

A Memorial Service is to be held at a future date.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bright Funeral Home.
