Felix Garcia Sandoval Jr., 62, a resident of Vanadium, NM entered eternal rest Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his residence.

He was born October 14, 1955 in Silver City, NM to Felix A. Sandoval and Florinda Garcia.

Felix was a great lover of music, excellent guitar player, DJ'd locally known as "DJ Koolkat".

He was very faithful to our God. He would send out daily scripture. He was very helpful to anyone in need.

Felix was a caring man, he loved his sons very much. He is survived by three sons, Felix Joshua Sandoval of Phoenix, AZ; Shaun Sandoval of Silver City; Jordan Gomez of Silver City; four grandchildren, Jeriah, Razeal, Ezra, and Ailee; two brothers, Thomas E. Sandoval (Rhonda) of Tucson, AZ; Alex M. Sandoval of Albuquerque, NM; two sisters, Corina S. Aguirre (Manuel) of Bayard; Gloria Sandoval of Fort Bayard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Arthur Sandoval; two sisters, Sandra Ortiz and Syliva Pierce.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 17 from 9-10 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church with the holy rosary to begin at 10 am. The funeral mass will follow at 10:30 am with Father Abraham Soliz officiating. Concluding service and interment will follow at Vanadium cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Felix Sandoval III, Shaun Sandoval, Thomas Sandoval, Sonny Aguirre, Alex Aguirre-Gonzales, Amanda Ortiz, and Alex Sandoval. Honorary pallbearers will the rest of his family and friends, extended family at FBMC, Hurley Bar and Sugar Shack.
