Ramiro Quintana Morales, 79, longtime Deming resident passed away Saturday March 31, 2018 surrounded by family at his home.

Ramiro was born June 1, 1938 to Isabel Quintana and Santos Morales in Zaragoza, Chihuahua, Mexico. He worked as a cement finisher for the construction industry and was a communicant of Saint Ann's Catholic Church. Ramiro loved to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to music and taking drives with his son-in-law, Manuel Perez.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Morales of the home; son, Raul Morales; daughter, Dahlia Perez and husband Manuel; step-daughter, Margaret Baca all of Deming; 3 brothers, Ramon, Humberto and Horacio Morales; 5 sisters, Alma Campos, Martha Barradas, Armida Giron, Morayma Arellano and Leticia Gonzalez; 5 grandchildren, Manuel Perez Jr. (Kimberly), Javier Perez, Isabel Morales, Harmony Morales and Ariana Gonzalez; 5 great-grandchildren, Zailene Uzueta, Manny Perez III, Ailanny Perez, Bradley and Richard Paul.

Preceded in death by parents, Santos and Isabel Morales.

Visitation will begin Thursday April 5, 2018 at 9 o'clock in the morning at Saint Ann's Catholic Church with a rosary to follow at 10:30 led by Guillermina Macias. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 o'clock, Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Father Manuel Ibarra, Pastor, will officiate.
