Kathy Ann Stone Koger, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Gila Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.

She was born March 1944, in Silver City, New Mexico to Ouida LaMell Stone and late Brub Stone.

She was a graduate of Cobre High School and Western New Mexico University.

Kathy taught kindergarten and had a great love for children, especially her granddaughters.

She is survived by her husband Gary Koger; daughter Julie Carpenter; son Brian Koger; mother Quida Stone, and granddaughters Katy Pethick and Ashton Jakcsy.

Cremation is under the direction of Bright Funeral Home. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
