Carmen Lopez Padilla, 66, a resident of Santa Clara, NM entered eternal rest Sunday, June 10, 2018 at her residence.

She was born September 12, 1951 in Silver City, NM to Luis B. and Inez Holguin Lopez.

Carmen worked with the Housing Authority as their secretary.

She loved her Yorkie "Leon" who was always by her side.

She is survived by her husband Robert Padilla of the family home; her mother Inez H. Lopez; two sisters, Martha Lopez of Santa Clara; Gloria Silva and husband Phillip of Albuquerque; one brother Sam H. Lopez of Santa Clara; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 16 at 10 a.m. at Santa Clara Catholic Church with Father Robert Becerra officiating. Concluding service and inurnment will follow at Santa Clara cemetery. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
