Anita D. Ordonez, 62, Deming resident passed away Friday June 15, 2018 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces.

Anita was born May 12, 1956 to Clorinda Sandoval Dodds and Refugio Ochoa Ordonez in Silver City. She was employed with the HELP program working for the Rainbow, Corner Escuelita and TLC for over 25 years. She was so dedicated to her children, she spent countless hours with them. Anita will be remembered for her cooking, and the love she shared with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Jose D. Carrazco of the home; son, Samuel Javier Ordonez and wife Iliana of Las Cruces; 2 daughters, Samantha Anne Ordonez and Savannah Jo Ordonez both of Las Cruces; 2 sisters, Terry O. Ramirez of Clute, TX and Josie Luera and husband Joe of Deming; 10 grandchildren; many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Refugio and Clorinda Ordonez; brother, Refugio D. Ordonez and sister, Sofie D. Aguilar.

Visitation will be Wednesday June 20, 2018 beginning at 4 o'clock at Baca's Funeral Chapel with a recitation of the rosary to follow at 6 o'clock. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday morning, June 21, 2018 at 10 o'clock at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Prakasham Babu officiating. Cremation will follow at Baca's Mimbres Crematory.

Pallbearers will be Samuel Javier Ordonez, Bryan Jakub Ordonez, Jose Miguel Ordonez, Robert Ramirez, Gilly Limon and Manuel Carrazco.
