Maria Belia V. Gonzales, 88, a resident of Bayard, NM entered eternal rest Thursday, September 6, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born January 31, 1930 in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua Mexico to Carlos Lee and Jovita Villalba.

She is survived by her husband, Lorenzo "Larry" J. Gonzales of the family home; two sons, Joaquin Gonzales and wife Debbie; Victor Gonzales and wife Dorothy; three daughters, Alejandra Gonzales and husband Anselmo; Ofelia Flores and husband Alejandro; Sofia Vega and husband David; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; one brother, Ramiro Villalba and wife Lydia; two sisters, Elba Wemiz and husband Rafael; Alma Parra; various nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, two brothers, two sisters and a grandson.

Visitation will be Monday, September 10 from 5 - 6 p.m. at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary to begin at 6 p.m. with Deacon Art Gutierrez reciting. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 11 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Father Abraham Soliz officiating.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Vega, Mark Gonzales, Damian Gonzales, Melissa Nevarez, Sunni Gonzales, and Alejandro Flores Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph M. Neil, Eddie Gonzales, Victor Gonzales Jr., and Lee Vega.
