Durl Welch, 79, passed away October 22, 2018 in Silver City, New Mexico. A Graveside Service will be held at Memory Lane Cemetery on Thursday October 25, 2018 at 11:00 am.

Survivors include wife Pat Welch, daughters Terri Pereau (Doug), Dawn Sutton, Michelle Foster, and Kimberly Foster, ten grandchildren Cory, Trisha, Joshua, Twilla, Dominic, Skyler, Dusty, Dylan, Zach and Zay, ten great grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters. Durl was born February 13, 1939 in Gorman, Texas. He married Pat Welch, they were married for 42 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Short and Cleo Welch, and 4 sisters. Durl worked for Texas, New Mexico Power Company for 37 years. He was an electrical engineer, and also the division manager. He retired in 1995 and had been a resident of Silver City, New Mexico for 48 years. His hobbies included the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, hunting, and he also enjoyed traveling the National Parks.
