Patsy Wood Grijalva, 93, lovingly known as “the Heartbeat of the family”, entered eternal rest Friday, October 26, 2018 at her residence in Bayard, NM surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pinos Altos, NM to Thomas Jefferson Wood and Pauline Gutierrez. She is survived by five daughters, Florene Andazola (Willie), Pauline Flores (Aurelio), Francine Flores (Steve), Patricia Stone (Joe), Dee Ann Ezell (Wayne); ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Adelino I Grijalva Jr. (2004), and one brother, William R. Wood.

Visitation will be Monday, November 5 from 9:30-10:30am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary being recited at 10:30am. The funeral liturgy will follow at 11:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Father Abraham Solis officiating. Concluding service and interment will be at Fort Bayard National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband. Pallbearers will be Pat Flores, Tom Flores, Michael Dominguez, Todd Allred, Ralph Delgado, and Steven Gomez.
