Florence (Flinda) Marquerite Yinger Prevost of San Jose CA peacefully passed away on November 13, 2018 . She was born in Tyrone, PA to Grace Isabel (Peck) Yinger and James Yinger on May 15, 1924. Flinda was a Mayflower descendant of pilgrim William Brewster.

Her first husband, Arnold Ewell was killed in action during WWII. She later married Charles Prevost of Silver City, NM. She is survived by her loving children,  Arnold (Tony) Ewell II, Lynn (Prevost) Wilcox, and Gary Prevost as well as her two grandchildren Steven (Craig) Cole, and Tod Cole and their children Maggie and Betsy Cole and Craig's child Andrew Cole.

Flinda had a full life and was loved by all. She was a Penn State graduate, Navy nurse during WWII, worked for Ford Aerospace, NASA's Ames Research and many more.

She and Charles lived in Deming and Silver City NM then moved to Huntsville AL, Abington PA, Sunnyvale CA and finally San Jose, CA. In their later years, they traveled the world and made many new friends.

She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
