Elisa Morales Correa, 91, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born May 25, 1927 in Santa Rita, NM to Inez Morales and Sara Lopez. She is survived by her son, Alfredo M. Correa and wife Sandy of Silver City; her daughter, Evangeline “Vangie” Silva and husband Frank of Silver City; seven grandchildren, Alfred Michael Correa (Stephanie), Benjamin Correa (Naomi), Patrick Correa, Jacob Silva (Adriana), Matthew Silva (Jennifer), Daniel Silva (Breanna), and Kathleen Silva; seven great grandchildren, Alyssa, Elias, Karina, McKenzie, Audrina, Andres, and Ezra; one brother, Jesus Morales of Arenas Valley; one sister, Nora Arzola and husband Ramon of Silver City; sister in-law, Lupe Morales.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alfredo C. Correa, three brothers, Pedro, Antonio, and Luis Morales; one sister, Margarita Gallardo. Visitation will be Thursday, December 27 from 5 - 6 p.m. at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary being recited by Dr. Gilbert Arizaga to begin at 6 p.m.The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, December 28 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Newman Center with Father Ezenwelem Bartholomew officiating. Pallbearers will be her seven grandchildren, Alfred Correa, Benjamin Correa, Patrick Correa, Jacob Silva, Matthew Silva, Daniel Silva, and Kathleen Silva. Cremation will follow service.
