Christina Michelle Davis went home to be with our Dear Lord on Sunday, December 23rd. She was born on August 9, 1978 to Titus and M. Jeanette Davis in Phoenix, Arizona. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends, drawing, listening to music, and had a way of making even the most serious moments a little easier to take. She made sure you always had a smile on your face or were in tears from laughter. Even with her most recent health battles, she remained a fighter and in good spirits. She fought a tough battle and made sure to let everyone know she was fighting for her nieces and nephews who she adored. She will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her and loved her over the years.

She is survived by her sisters Sara Davis-Maldonado and husband Steven of Silver City; Desiree Gonzales of Silver City; brother Arlen Davis of Las Cruces; nieces Teresa Davis-Maldonado, Isabella Davis, Danielle Graziano, and Honey Alvarez; nephews Arturo Jeffrey “Chucho” Maldonado, and Joseph Arzola. She is also survived by one special boy who she considered a son; Cardeno Madrid. As well as special cousins JT and Marie Gantz, Rick and Marie Hernandez, “mom” Gloria Lopez, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. One very dear friend who was with her throughout her health battles, Virginia Thomas. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Melvin and Elsie Davis; maternal grandparents Theresa and Joseph James, and parents Titus and M. Jeanette Davis, Godfather David Torres, and special cousin, Jeffrey I. James. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Jaurequi, Cardeno Madrid, Steven Maldonado, Tony Arzola, Chris Guerra, Ryan Thomas, Sorina Cannon, and Marisol Torres. Honorary pallbearers are her nieces and nephews and friends and caregivers at DCI who were like family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to Terrazas Funeral Chapels.  Visitation will be Thursday, January 10 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary being recited by Deacon Bill Holguin at 6pm.
