Erminia “Minnie” M. Villalobos, 78, entered eternal rest Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Ft. Bayard Medical Center. She was born June 30, 1940 in Vanadium, NM to Willie W. Madrid and Genoveva Castillo Madrid.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, playing bingo, cooking, dancing, playing pranks by setting off fire works to scare family members. She is survived by two sons, Ramon Villalobos and wife Lucy of Hanover; Chonito Villalobos Jr. and wife Anna of Bayard; four daughters, Susie Martinez and husband Peter of Hurley; Diana Silva and husband Julio Silva Jr. of Silver City; Nancy Marquez and husband Ralph of Bayard; Kathy Andazola of Santa Clara; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Gilbert Madrid of Bayard; Willie Madrid and wife Patricia of Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Adelina Madrid of Las Cruces; Esther Welcome and husband William of Bayard; one brother in-law, Benito Villalobos and wife Julia of Bayard; one sister in-law, Rosie Montes and husband Tommy of Bayard.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Concepcion “Chon” Villalobos Sr.; her parents, son in-law, Ray Andazola; sister in-law, Helen Madrid; two brothers in-law, Jose and Jesus Villalobos. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 27 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary being recited by Dr. Gilbert Arizaga to begin at 6pm. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, March 28 at 10am at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Father Mike Williams officiating. Concluding service and interment will follow at Hanover cemetery. Pallbearers will be Javier Silva, Sergio Sotelo Ochoa, Peter Martinez Jr., Iesha Marquez, Chonita Villalobos III, Ryan Andazola, Julio Silva III, and Angel Villalobos.
