Later as an ER department director/manager in various locations, he liked to remind staff when they felt overwhelmed or too busy, that they could all handle it, because it was nothing like working “in the busiest ER in the world, LA County Hospital.” In lieu of flowers and donations be made to the local humane society or to the Gospel Mission in Silver City, New Mexico in remembrance of Pete J.
