robieFrank Edwin Robie 91, of Silver City, New Mexico passed away June 28, 2019. A Graveside Service will be held at Fort Bayard National Cemetery on Monday July 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Full Military Honors. Frank is survived by three of his sons, Charles Michael and his children Tavin, Kalie and Rashea, Kenneth Brian (Sheryl) and their daughter Debra, and Donald James (Julie) and their children Dana and Dylan and his grandson Mathew, with 11grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Albione and Gertrude, his wife Florence, and first-born son Steven Allen.

Frank was born in Manchester, New Hampshire and grew up in Candia, New Hampshire. He later moved to Los Angeles, California in the early 50’s when he was drafted to the Army for the Korean War. He then met Florence Rosina and married her at the Chapel of Roses in Pasadena, California. They lived and raised their 4 boys in California until they moved to Silver City, New Mexico in 1988. Frank was very involved with the Boy Scouts, some 4H and Hunters Education. He was an excellent woodworker and a great mentor for the youth, which he loved helping more than anything. He had a sense of humor that only got better throughout his life and one of his favorite things to do was tell a good story with a glass of scotch and finish it off with a great laugh. He had many family and friends who loved him as a Dad and Grandpa. Frank will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
