Raymond G. Olivas, 77, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM.  He was born December 25, 1941 in Santa Rita to Galdino Olivas and Cecilia Gomez Olivas. He is survived by one brother, Matias Olivas of Albuquerque; two sisters, Margaret Snoeberger of Albuquerque; Mary Altamirano of Artesia, CA; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Thursday, August 1 from 9-10am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. The funeral service will follow at 10am with Rev. Clyde Woods officiating. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory following. A full obit will appear on Friday’s paper.
