Shirley M. Solano, 79, of Hurley, passed away June 16, 2023 in El Paso, Texas at her son’s home. 

Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Shirley’s life will take place at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday July 1, 2023 at the family home in Silver City.

Shirley was born August 27, 1943 in Fort Worth, Texas to Oletha Webb.  She had worked in law enforcement and served as Police Chief in the Village of Central.  

 
She is survived by her children Bonita, Daniel, Carlos ten grandchildren, Shirley, Elizabeth, Carla, Stephanie, Alexandria, Mary, RandiJo, Monica, Britton, Alex, and seven great grandchildren.  Shirley was preceded in death by her son Estevan and great granddaughter Anastasia
