Michael Ray Rodriguez, affectionately known as "Herman" passed away peacefully at the age of 56 on July 9, 2023. Michael was born in Silver City on August 31, 1966 to Amalia “Molly” Serna Arias.

He attended Cobre Schools and enjoyed a good party, a good laugh and made friends with everyone he met. He loved music, good food and socializing with all of his friends. He was a "gentle giant" who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his only brother, David Arias (Janette) of Santa Clara; his niece, Eileen (Rudy) of Bayard; a very special uncle, Raymond Serna (Sherry) of Irvine, CA. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Amalia “Molly” Arias, grandmother, Lorenza Kirker and grandfather, Alfredo Kirker.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 15th at 9:30-10am at Santa Clara Catholic Church. The funeral mass will commence at 10am with Father Casmir Anozie officiating. Concluding service and interment will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery. Pallbearers are Albert Padilla, Rudy Garcia, George Marquez, Joe Melendes, Mark Montenegro, Bruce Arciero, and Robert Granillo.
