brayobit copyIt is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marianne Davis Bray on July 15, 2023. Marianne, a cherished wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend, touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Marianne was born on June 9, 1940 in Douglas, Arizona to Jerrold Davis and Katherine Mimica Davis. She graduated from Douglas High School and attended college in Tucson, AZ and Costa Mesa, CA. She was a lifetime learner who sought opportunities to expand her knowledge whether it be bible studies, history classes at Western New Mexico University, painting or singing. She cherished the simple joys of life and will be remembered for many things including her spirit of adventure, willingness to embrace new experiences, her laugh and her wonderful flair for life.

Marianne leaves behind her husband, Harold Joseph Bray, sons Rick Necoechea, Jerry Necoechea (Lynn), Jason Bray and three grandchildren, Eric Necoechea, Tyler Necoechea and Ashley Necoechea and three great grandchildren, Alyssa, Nicky, and Gianna. Her siblings Carol Greenwalt (Don), Marie Davis Powers (Jack), Robert Davis (Janice), Jerrold M. Davis (Beth), Raymond Davis (Dayna), Billy Davis, and Norma Davis Forkner (Ed). She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Carleton F. Casper Jr. and Mick Davis.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Marianne's life will be held on July 29, 2023 at 10:00am at Terrazas Funeral Chapel in Santa Clara, NM, with Edward Messman officiating. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.

May you rest in eternal peace, Marianne. You will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten.
