Nathan Kishbaugh, 42, our beloved Nathan Darrel Kishbaugh went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 9, 2023 in his home in San Lorenzo. The family was blessed with him when he was born on March 25, 1981. Even with health issues, he was always smiling and trying to make people laugh. He touched the lives of many people in the various school districts he attended and participated in Special Olympics. He competed in the mile walk and then bocci when long distance walking became difficult. As a young child, his grandfather, Jesse introduced him to heavy machinery and Nathan loved talking about the backhoe and riding in a blade. He loved spending time with his cousins and being teased and teasing back. Family gatherings were always a major event when he was around. He was the life of the party. He also loved country music and went to concerts with his mother. He also loved going to the movies. Nathan had a tremendous respect for the police, sheriff and fire departments. He wore a badge all the time.
He is survived by his mother, Beth Kishbaugh; his grandfather, Jesse Allison; his cousins, Dale (Helen), Jason (Jen), Amanda (Ernesto), Michelle (Michael), Becky (John), April and Sean. Uncle John (Ana), Uncle David, Uncle Ed (Kila) & Aunt Molly (John) and many other cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ann Allison; uncle Jay Dee Allison; and cousin Tabatha Kishbaugh.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00am at Terrazas Funeral Service, with Sean Kishbaugh officiating. Following the service, the family will be gathering at Calvery Chapel Church (Hwy 90 South, Silver City, NM 88061)
