William David Moreland, 71, a resident of Arenas Valley, NM entered eternal rest Friday, November 3, 2023 at his residence. He was born on October 13, 1952 to his parents, Omega Nelson and Marilyn (Jackson) Moreland in Silver City, NM.  He was a Haul Truck Driver for Freeport-McMoRan. 

He is survived by his two brothers, Walter C. Moreland (Ruth) of Santa Clara, NM and Rex Moreland (Peggy) of Massillon, OH; his sister Judy Hoyt of Arenas Valley, NM; his three uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law Charles Hoyt. 

A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 2:00pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Pastor Joseph Gros officiating.  He will then be laid to rest at Santa Clara Cemetery following the service.
