Henry “Pepper” Maynes, 59, a resident of Deming, NM entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 19, 2023 at UMC of El Paso. Henry was born on August 30, 1964 in Deming, NM to Enrique Henry Maynes and Guadalupe Maynes. 

He is survived by his father; two daughters, Heather Maynes of Macomb, IL and Breann Maynes of Chicago, IL; one brother, Daniel Cassias of FL; two sisters, Tina Roman and her husband Ygnacio of Belvidere, IL and Sandee Lembke of Beloit, WI; two nieces, Marlina Maynes-Urban and Amanda Cantrell; two nephews, Ignacio E. Maynes and James Lembke; two great nieces, Ariel Urban and Isabelle Urban; one great nephew, Reymond Urban; one great great niece, Sophia Sky Gilmer and two great great nephews, Hunter Chace Lembke, Dominic Joseph Ure. He is preceded in death by his mother. 

Visitation will be on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 9-9:30am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels in Santa Clara, NM with the holy rosary beginning at 9:30am with Carmen Terrazas officiating. Funeral mass will then take place at 10:30am at Holy Family Mission in Hanover, NM with Father, Martin Okonkwo officiating. Concluding services with an internment will be at the Hanover Cemetery.
