Robert “Bob” Bollinger, 70, of Hurley, was called home to eternal rest Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bright Funeral Home. Memorial services were held Monday, Feb. 18, at Light House Baptist Church, 601 Dayhill St. in Bayard, with Pastor Frank Bell and Pastor Eldon Fowler officiating.

Mr. Bollinger was born Nov. 19, 1942, in St. Louis, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arylis and Christine Bollinger; a sister, Catherine Vaughn; and three nieces, Belinda Sue, Joan and Jean Ann. Surviving are two sisters, Alice Sue Rowland of Hurley and Dorothy (Lloyd) Wilson of Swansea, Ill., and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mr. Bollinger will be remembered for his beautiful intarisia wood art, carpentry skills, awesome gospel music singing talent, giving heart and wonderful personality. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
