...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM SUNDAY TO 11 AM
MST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on difficult travel conditions. Total
snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches, with localized amounts up
to 8 inches, are expected at elevations above 7,500 feet. Total
snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected down to 6,000
feet. Silver City may see a rain/snow mix with 1 to 2 inches
accumulation late Sunday.

* WHERE...Higher elevations of the Gila Region.

* WHEN...5 AM Sunday to 11 AM Monday. The heaviest snowfall rates
will occur between Noon and 11 PM Sunday.

* ROADS MOST IMPACTED...The heaviest snow will affect higher
elevation portions of New Mexico Highway 15 between Pinos Altos
and Lake Roberts, and just south of Gila Hot Springs. Also
higher elevations of Highway 152 including Emory Pass.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
