...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TO 8 PM MDT SATURDAY...

The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has
issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 2 PM to 8 PM MDT
Saturday.

Fire Weather Watch In Effect From Sunday Afternoon Through
Sunday Evening For High Winds And Low Humidities For Fire Weather
Zones 111 And 112...

Fire weather zone 113. Fire weather zone 055. Fire weather
zone 056.

* WIND...West to southwest at 20 to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY...9 to 15 percent.

* HIGHEST THREAT for Sunday is located El Paso, Dona Ana and Luna
counties along with the eastern slopes of the Sacramento
Mountains.

* TIMING...Winds will increase during the late morning and early
afternoon with maximum speeds occurring from around 3 PM to 6
PM.

* WINDS...West to southwest winds will have sustained speeds
around 25 to 35 mph with gusts from 40 to 50 mph most areas.
However gusts may exceed 60 mph over isolated locations mainly
over the higher mountains and along eastern slopes and mountain
passes.

* IMPACTS...Saturday...Blowing dust will lower the visibility to less than a
mile over a few areas including along portions of Interstate 10
between El Paso and Las Cruces and also around Deming and
Lordsburg. Driving will be difficult especially for high profile
vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
