winter weather advisory from 2 pm 031219 to 6 pm 031319WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TUESDAY TO 6 PM
MDT WEDNESDAY ABOVE 7000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on difficult travel conditions
especially at higher elevations. Expect damage to trees and
power lines as well. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches
are expected, mainly above 7,000 feet.

* WHERE...The Gila Region, above 6,500 feet.

* WHEN...Rain will change to snow at higher elevations as a cold
front pushes through the area Tuesday morning. Snow levels will
drop to around 7,500 feet by mid-afternoon, then to near 6,000
feet by Wednesday morning. Snow may taper off Tuesday night, but
additional snow showers are expected during the day Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Storm total snowfall amounts Tuesday
through Wednesday will generally be 3 to 6 inches above 7,000
feet, with 1 to 3 inches between 6,000 and 7,000 feet. Strong
winds on Wednesday may result in near-blizzard conditions at
times in exposed areas, particularly above 8,000 feet.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will

roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
