Inspector General Horowitz released his report into the FBI's handling of the investigation against President Trump and more specifically the applications for the FISA court warrants. Once again, another bureaucrat disappoints in their conclusions and recommendations. It proves that the swamp’s tentacles are pervasive throughout every Department of the federal government.

Horowitz chronicles 17 errors or mistakes in the process to justify beginning an investigation into the Trump campaign, as well as continuing the investigation after Trump became president. First of all to call these mistakes is a gross misrepresentation of what actually occurred. These were deliberate omissions or misrepresentations of material facts. It is incumbent upon any investigator , especially when applying for a warrant, to be truthful, open, and complete. Horowitz and his team documented that the upper echelon of the FBI, you know their names, omitted information that could have caused a FISA court judge to deny the warrant request.

Horowitz documented as well that the participants in what can only now be called a coup attempt, knew they were omitting material facts. We have seen the text messages and the emails that proved they were conspiring to justify an investigation into a presidential candidate and a sitting president of the United States. He documents that they knew the Steele dossier was not verified but was represented to the courts as having been verified and was the pivotal piece of documentation to justify the investigation and the warrant requests.

Yet Inspector General Horowitz testifies to Congress that there is no documentary or testimonial evidence to support the conclusion that these bad actors were politically motivated. I spoke on the show last week or maybe 2 weeks ago, about how words have meanings. Horowitz is playing a very political game by using the term ‘documentary or testimonial evidence.' What that means simply is that nobody testified that they were politically motivated and nobody put that in writing. That does not mean we can't reach a reasonable conclusion about their motivations being political.

But if we are to follow Horowitz and the Democrats, we have to believe that 17 mistakes were made in this investigation; that all 17 of those mistakes went against the interests of Donald Trump: then all 17 mistakes of more material facts that likely would have changed the FISA court’s decision; and that some of the elite members of the FBI were just darn unlucky rather than incompetent.

We also have to believe that text messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page in which they talked about having to prevent Donald Trump from taking office and then getting him out of office, which included documentation about conversations they had had with other bad actors in this scenario do not show any political bias. We have to believe an incredible string of coincidences occurred, the odds of which happening make winning the lottery look is easy is making an uncontested layup.

A reasonable person with an open mind can look at all of this evidence and come to the conclusion that not only was there political bias or motivation in the actions of James Comey, Rod Rosenstein, Peter Strzok, et al, but there is also political motivation or fear of some significant retribution in the actions of Horowitz and his team. In fact I am hard pressed to understand how anyone could look at the facts of this entire fiasco and come to the conclusion that there was not political motivation at the core of their actions. If we were to change the names of those that were investigated by this cabal to Barack Obama , Eric Holder, and many of the members of those campaigns and that administration, there would be riots in the streets from the left side of the aisle.

I believe there are good people in the federal government but I believe that the power structure has them so scared that they are loath to state the obvious for fear of losing their career, their pensions, or even their life. And this is why we must not only support the efforts and re-election of Donald Trump but we must elect people of good character that will give him the support he needs to continue draining the swamp.
