Eight members of the Gaffney-Oglesby Marine Corps League Detachment 1328 attended the New Mexico Department of Veterans Services 11th annual honor guard conference on Aug. 23, 2019. 

"We kept it simple," Sterle said. "Frank (Donohue) held the flag, while Richard Luna folded it. We had three shooters, Marc MacDonald, George Morrison and me, Ben Collins was the caller, and Don Spann was the bugler. John Pace is a valued member of our team and provides support."
