Some joy for El Refugio clients Monday night, as over 25 recipients were able to go to the circus held at the rodeo Grounds. Silver City Masonic Lodge provided the tickets to the El Refugio staff to use or disperse to their clients. This is but one additional way the Masons try to support the community.

Lodges rely on fundraisers and donations from their members and others to give back to Grant County residents, with over 10 different events sponsored this last year.  The lodges are proud to help our community members have a better Life.

Masons (members of Freemasonry) are the initial starting point for the entire Masonic “Appendant Bodies”, i.e. you have to be a Mason in good standing to belong to the Shriners, Knights Templar, Scottish Rite, Order of the Eastern Star (OES), and others, all of which make charity their primary effort. For additional information on this activity and others, or information regarding Masonic Lodges, please contact a Mason near you or call, Bob Baker at 575-590-2859.
