DESCRIPTION:Weather permitting, the Silver City Friends of the Library’s (FOL)  Booksto
 re and Parking Lot Book Sale will be held Saturday, September 10, from 10:0
 0am-2:00pm, at 1510 Market Street across from Cheyenne Street. The sale is 
 open to the public, free of charge. Come and enjoy browsing the stacks and 
 finding treasures, all while supporting the Silver City Public Library.\n“T
 he Friends of the Library volunteers worked all through the summer to get r
 eady for the September sale,” said Barbara Guber, FOL Bookstore manager. “L
 ots of new stock appear on all the book shelves inside the Bookstore, and t
 he music CD and audio books sections also contain new donations.” \n“In the
  parking lot,” Guber said, “we are highlighting our large collection of bio
 graphies and memoirs, and a pristine collection of specialty crafts books. 
 Both of these special features will be identified by signs on the boxes. An
 d,” she added, “because these are in the parking lot, visitors can fill up 
 as many of our supplied bags as they wish with selections from these collec
 tions (and from all the other boxes on the tables) at $2.00 per bag!” \n
