The Grant County Sheriff’s Office practiced a dress rehearsal for the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) graduation program with about 125 Cobre School District 5th graders at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the Cobre High School Performing Arts Building. The graduation event is planned for 6 p.m. that evening at the same location.

According to Sgt. Manny Maldonado, coordinator of the GCSO DARE program, at the evening graduation, students will wear red T-shirts given out at the dress rehearsal and be awarded gifts and certificates.
