The Grant County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a body that was found by a hiker Wednesday May 3, 2023 in the area of Hwy 15 near the Pine Flat trail. Positive identification could not be determined at this time. The body has been sent to the Office of the Medical Investigator in Albuquerque, NM for identification and the cause of death.
