Give Grandly! Give Local! Non-Profit Fair from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, on 8th Street and Bullard, next to the Silver City Farmers’ Market on the market’s opening day. Give Grandly is a 24-hour community-giving marathon sponsored by the Grant County Community Foundation and the Southwest New Mexico Non-Profit Coalition representing over 50 local non-profits. The participating non-profits will have tables with staff or volunteers to highlight what they do for the community, accept cash and check donations, and answer questions. Computers will be set up at the fair for donors to make tax-deductible donations online to their favorite causes. There will be musical entertainment and food–lots of it!–hot food from the Duckstop, cold treats from the Mint Chip, more goodies from local restaurants and coffee and tea. All are invited to come on down to Bullard Street, enjoy the festivities, learn more about these organizations and donate, if the spirit moves.
