She moved to Hillsboro in 1893 where she married the owner of the regional stagecoach line. She established herself as a successful entrepreneur in the hotel business. The history of Sadie Orchard is laced with fable. This new biography provides many previously unknown facts as well as more accurate interpretations of previously known details.
