The Elks Hoop Shoot, funded by the Elks National Foundation, is a free throw contest for children ages 8 to 13. It happens Saturday, November 23, 2019 at La Plata Middle School, with registration beginning at 8:30 am. and competition beginning at 9 am.

The event is free; the prizes are numerous.

The winners will get a trip to District. The winners there will get a trip to the State Competition, from there to Regionals, and then hopefully to Nationals in Chicago,Ill.
