December 29, at 10:00 am, 3845 North Swan Street – "How Singing Connects Us to Ourselves and Each Other"

Maria Casler will be talking about the role of music in our everyday lives and how, despite a culture that largely defines music as entertainment delivered by professionals, we can reclaim our own unique singing voices. She will also talk about the power of group singing and how singing together brings us closer together, magnifying our joys and easing our sorrows. She will also lead the group in simple, joyous songs with easy harmonies.

Maria Casler has been singing since she could talk, first with her large and musical family, and then in various choirs, groups, and theater productions.  She loves to bring singing back into the everyday lives of everyday people.

Although this is not a Family Program Sunday, childcare will be available.

There will be coffee and conversation after the service, and visitors are always welcome.
