susan 3Susan Clair left this life on December 6, 2019. She was born in New York City, and grew up in Mineola, NY. She discovered New Mexico as young woman and lived most of her life in her adopted homes of Albuquerque, the Sandia Crest, and Silver City. She embraced each place through long walks with her beloved dogs.

Susan relished her friendships and was known for her generosity. She enjoyed watercolor painting, sewing, and crochet and ran her own technical writing fir for many years. She was passionate and outspoken about many causes, especially healthy and sustainable diet and non-traditional medicine. She taught classes on diet and beekeeping and founded the Silver City beekeeping association.

Susan lived a life full of art, learning, beauty and community service. She made close and devoted friends wherever she went and has left this world a better place for her having been here.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Henry Tulley and a niece, Eileen Tulley. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Tulley, brother James Tulley (Kathleen), sister Patrice Wallace, nephew Jay Tulley (Amy) and niece Michelle Dixon (Cory).
