Olga Correa, 84, of Silver City, passed away October 30, 2023 at her home.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 12 o’clock noon on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Bayard led by Deacon Art Gutierrez.  The Funeral Liturgy will follow thereafter.  The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at the Fierro Cemetery.  Officiating will be Father Martin Okonkwo.  Serving as casket bearers will Joshua Marquez, Jacob Marquez, Carlos Correa, Javier Correa, Jose Correa, Darren Abellera.

Olga was born March 4, 1939 in Santa Rita, NM to Jose and Mariana Ramirez.  She had been a teacher’s aide with the public school system and was a member of the catholic church.  Olga enjoyed spending time painting and gardening.  She loved spending time with her family and friends who will dearly miss her.

Olga is survived by her husband, Carlos C. Correa; two sons, Jose (Melissa) Correa and Edward (Crystal) Correa; two daughters, Carla (Ron) Marquez and Catherine (Darren) Abellera; ten grandchildren, Andrea, Joshua, Cheyenne, Carlos, Jacob, Cierra, Kaeden, Javier, Raquel, and Mila; six great grandchildren, Isai, DJ, Joshua (JJ), Adriel, Hezekiah, and Jeremiah.
