...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON MST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected.

* WHERE...The Gila Region of Southwestern New Mexico, including
Silver City.

* WHEN...6 PM Tonight through Noon Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Roads may become slippery or icy at times.
Major roads which may be impacted include portions of U.S.
Highway 180, New Mexico State Highways 15, 35, 61, and Highway
152.

Cold temperatures and gusty winds will drop wind chill readings
into the 10s and 20s for much of the day Tuesday.

* WHERE...The lowlands of far Southwestern New Mexico, including
Lordsburg and Animas.

* WHEN...1 AM Tuesday to noon Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Roads may become slippery or icy at times.
Major roads which may be impacted include portions of Interstate
10, U.S. Highway 70, and New Mexico State Highway 90.

Cold temperatures and gusty winds will drop wind chill readings
into the 10s and 20s in the morning, and 20s and 30s in the
afternoon.
