...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH
FRIDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Travel will be very difficult to
impossible, including during the morning commute on Friday. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 18 inches are expected over higher mountain areas above 7000 feet with 6 to 12 inches for areas between 5500 and 7000 feet. Up to 4 inches may fall  across the lower elevations.

* WHERE...Upper Gila River Valley, Southern Gila Highlands/Black
Range, Southern Gila Foothills/Mimbres Valley and Eastern
Black Range Foothills.

* WHEN...From Thursday evening through Friday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heavy snows will cause dangerous
driving conditions due to snow covered roads and areas of
low visibility less than a half mile. Some road closures may be
necessary.
