Sales and Special Events at the Bisbee After 5 Artwalk

Bisbee, AZ – Bisbee’s historic district is well-known for its eclectic mix of art galleries, antique shops, and boutiques. You can find unique gifts, stylish clothing, vintage décor, and even something for your four-legged friends. This month, you can scoop up on great deals at the artwalk as merchants host the 3rd Annual Indoor/Outdoor Sidewalk Sale! Beginning at 10 am on Saturday, June 9th, merchants will mark down a variety of overstocked, creative, one-of-a-kind, handmade, and vintage items. While you are here, enjoy dining out at Bisbee’s incredible local restaurants. Then, grab a map and tour the art galleries on the artwalk, which are open until 8 pm. There are several receptions to attend, including a brand new art center opening, an exhibit of recycled art, and the Bisbee debut of a Tucson painter. Events & Openings

The Tang Gallery is holding its June exhibition "Recycled Everything," opening on Saturday, June 9. Included in the show is sculpture by graphic designer Richard Jeltes who collects interesting materials from the desert to fashion exquisite pieces. Pen and ink artist Carolyn Yeutter has found old geological maps as a basis for her drawings of Bisbee sites. Joann Sarachman uses recycled fabrics to create unique panoramic quilted landscapes. There will be recycled painted furniture, recycled journal books by Karen Webb, and assemblages by artists Laurie Giangregorio, Karen Kyler, Mina Tang Kan, Marcela Lubian, Peter Kuttner, Archie Sutton, Eva Arenas, and Jan Searle. The opening receptions will be held from 4 to 7 pm during the artwalk at the Tang Gallery, 32 Main Street, Bisbee across from Café Roka.

Y Arts art Center andgallery is hosting its Grand Opening! Come say hello, view the schedule of free art and dance classes, as well as open studio times. View the gallery and shop handmade gifts at the Bisbee Community Y, 26 Howell Avenue.

Eric Galbreath debuts his show "Way Out in Bisbee" at 55 Main Gallery. What a gorgeous body of work! In the tradition of National LGBT Pride Month, 55 Main has selected Tucson painter Eric Galbreath as their 2018 featured artist. He is a proud representative of the gay art community. This month's official Bisbee After 5 AFTER PARTY is at the Bisbee Grand! Grab a cocktail as "Out of the Blue" plays jazz, psychedelic, funk, and blues live from 8 to 11 p.m. at 61 Main.

You can also head to the gulch for a late dinner and live music at The Quarry, savor one of the award-winning artisanal beers at Old Bisbee Brewing Company, or dance to cool funky jazz and rock by the Bill Ren Band at the Copper City Saloon on OK Street!
