Border Area Mental Health Services will be providing a certified New Mexico Alcohol Server Training class in Silver City on Monday, April 18, from 9 a.m.to 1:30 p.m., at 315 S. Hudson St., Hudson Plaza, in Suite 11.
The class is available for individuals who are seeking first-time certification as well as for others who need to become recertified, according to Steve May, a BAMHS program specialist and training instructor. Cost is $35 per person and is payable with cash, cashier's checks, or money orders.
"The training is mandated by the state's Alcohol and Gaming Division for all people who work in businesses that sell alcohol, whether by the drink or through retail sales," May explained.
For more information or to pre-register for the class, contact May at (575) 388-4497.
