Tucumcari, NM – May 9, 2018 – Back for its second year, the New Mexico Music Showcase in Tucumcari, New Mexico promises a talented lineup of local favorites to celebrate the culture and traditions of New Mexico music. With ten incredible artists featured in one concert for the first time, the event will take place on Saturday, June 2nd at the Tucumcari Convention Center.
 
The powerhouse local musician lineup includes Darren Cordova Y Calor, Darren Lee, Dynette Marie, Cuarenta Y Cinco, Carlos Medina, Daniel Cordova Y Esperanza, Sangre Joven, Ernestine Romero, Camino Oscuro, and La Banda Seria.

"This is the first time these artists will be featured in one show," said Tucumcari Mayor Ruth Ann Litchfield. "In addition to showcasing their immense musical talents, the New Mexico Music Showcase is a unique event, allowing attendees to experience the culture of New Mexico through the power of music. We invite all to come out to this one-of-a-kind show, enjoy the music, support local talent, and celebrate the heritage of our great state. For those planning to visit from out of town, be sure to come early, as the weekend will be packed full of fun, cultural events."
 
In addition to the main concert on Saturday, the weekend of May 31st through June 2nd will include special events at the Convention Center, including a carnival, a Park on 66 Car Show, and a free outdoor concert on Friday night. Events are presented by Tucumcari Columbus Club.
 
On Saturday, doors will open at 7 p.m. with the show kicking off at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person, and the concert is open to all attendees aged 21 and over.
