Success Through Technology Education Foundation has partnered with New Mexico State University's Arrowhead Center to offer a TechSprint online accelerator, STTE Ventures Sprint, to tech startups from El Paso.

STTE Ventures Sprint is one of the new several opportunities offered through STTE Ventures to empower El Paso startups. The accelerator program complements opportunities to pitch at the upcoming Dia de Los Muertos Startup Week, among other resources and opportunities for entrepreneurs.

"Our sprint model promotes the formation of partnerships between entrepreneurs and stakeholders, facilitating seamless integration into the entrepreneurship ecosystem and establishing significant relationships for potential investment," said Carlos Murguia, TechSprint program manager. "This assistance strategically positions startups to actively pursue subsequent funding opportunities by guiding them through activities centered on identifying customers and validating market feasibility."

The STTE Ventures Sprint is a comprehensive accelerator program tailored specifically for tech founders. It provides immersive guidance in validating the technology market. The program places particular emphasis on vital elements like customer discovery, gaining market insights, assessing commercial potential and attracting investment capital from investors. Each session consists of a combination of informative lectures, engaging presentations, interactive discussions, valuable feedback and mentorship from industry experts. To expedite progress for the startups involved, a minimum of three mentors and advisers – with expertise spanning various stages of entrepreneurship – actively support each session.

Additionally, each participant will have access to weekly one-on-one meetings with an Arrowhead team member or mentor who provides customized assistance and addresses individual questions and concerns.

The STTE Ventures Sprint aligns with the ongoing initiatives initiated by the Hunt Center for Entrepreneurship to bolster the regional ecosystem.

"The partnership with the STTE Foundation solidifies our dedication to advancing economic opportunities in the Borderplex region through innovation and entrepreneurship," said Kathy Hansen, director and CEO of Arrowhead Center.

"STTE is excited to help support the next generation of El Paso entrepreneurs building startups at scale," said Maximo Gamez, STTE Foundation Ventures manager.

Featured advisers and mentors include accomplished entrepreneurs, experienced operators, active angel and venture investors, world-leading scientists, engineers and economists.
