youngobitBrad was born in Silver City NM on March 17, 1977. In 1983, the family moved from Silver City to Hobbs, NM where Brad attended grade school until another move took them to Buffalo Gap, TX. There he attended the Jim Ned Schools. The family relocated back to Silver City in 1989. While in school, Brad participated in baseball and football. He graduated in 1995 and enlisted in the army where he was trained as a combat medic and was stationed at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Colorado.

He was accepted into the Army’s Green to Gold program which took him out of active duty as he worked on his degree at NMSU. Eventually he reenlisted and was stationed at Ft. Carson in Colorado.

Upon being discharged, he obtained a degree with high honors in computer network engineering. He put this to use in Las Vegas working for several computer service companies until he started his own business, “Admiral Network Solutions.” Eventually he moved this business to Silver City NM. In addition, Brad chose to follow his military training as a medic by becoming a CNA, working at a number of care centers in NM.

Brad passed away on March 30, 2023 after a lengthy stay in the hospital. He is survived by four children, Kris Myers, Winter Sandoval, Cheyenne Young-Chaffee, Brenden Young-Chaffee one brother, Kyle Young and his parents Ed and Jeanne Young. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
