Johnny was born in Silver City, on April 5, 1977. It was about 2am when he decided it was time to enter this world. He was a hyper, fun-loving boy who loved to laugh, play in the dirt, and get into mischief with his sister Cathie when she arrived. John loved to mechanic and see how things worked; he loved being in the outdoors. His favorite place was the Turkey Creek hot springs, which he went to every chance he got. Throughout his life he held many occupations, one of which was a cross country truck driver. He said he loved seeing all the different landscapes and enjoyed the traveling. Johnny had many trials and tribulations in his life but in the end, he was happy, proud of his hard- earned sobriety, and happy to be in the company of his true friends and family. Johnny knew no stranger, and had family and friends from all walks of life.
