County de Grant, Nuevo Mexico, desea anunciar sobre las juntas publicas para informar a los interesados en le proceso de solicitude del program de CDBG del año 2010. Las juntas serán los siguientes dias 1/7/19 05:00 p.m., Grant County Adminstration Building 1400 Highway 180 East Silver City NM 88061

Esta junta considerará propuestas de proyectos para aplicación de 2019 fondos del Community Development Block grant (CDBG). El estado de Nuevo Mexico ha recibido fondos en la cantidad de $10,000,000 ( compruebe con el encargado de proyecto para saber si hay la figura actualizada) .

El programma de Community Development Block Grant fue establecido en 1974 bajo el Title I/Housing & Community Development Act para asistir

1) A comunidades y a residentes de pocos o moderados recursos, 2) Ayudar a eliminar barrios bajos, sucios y manchados 3) Y tambien estos fondoes se pueden usar an condiciónes de emergencia que pongan en peligro inmediato a la salud y bienestar de la gente.

Office Closure – Christmas & New Year Holidays

The Grant County Administrative Offices will be closed Monday, December 24 & Tuesday December 25, 2018 in observance of the Christmas Holiday. The Offices will also be closed on Monday, December 31, 2018 & Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in observance of the New Year Holiday. Please contact the Grant County Regional Dispatch Authority at 575-388-8840 with questions or concerns pertaining to roads and/or law enforcement.

EXHIBIT 1-Q CDBG PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE WITH REQUIRED ELEMENTS

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The County of Grant, New Mexico, wishes to inform all interested parties that a public hearing will be held 1/7/19  at 05:00 p.m. at the Grant County Administration Building, 1400 Highway 180 East Silver City NM 88061

The purpose of this public meeting will be to report on past CDBG program activities and to receive public input on community development needs and suggestions for future CDBG projects.

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program was established under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, in order to assist communities in providing essential community facilities, providing decent housing for residents, promoting economic development and maintaining a suitable living environment. The State of New Mexico estimates the 2019 appropriation of $10,000,000 to be distributed statewide on a competitive basis.

State and national objectives of the CDBG Program require that assistance be made available for activities that address at least one of the following:

1) An activity identified as principally benefiting persons of low and moderate income; 2) Aid in the prevention and elimination of slums and blight; 3) Meet other community development needs of recent origin having a particular urgency because existing conditions pose a serious and immediate threat to the health and welfare of the community where other financial resources are not available to meet such needs.

QUORUM NOTICE
A quorum of the Grant County Board of Commissioners may attend a meeting of Local Government Officials, Monday, December 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Congresswoman-Elect Xochitl Torres-Small. The Meeting will be held at the Western New Mexico University Global Resource Center, located at W. 12th Street, Silver City, New Mexico 88061. This is not a formal meeting of the Commission and no action will be taken.

GRANT COUNTY WATER COMMISSION

The Grant County Water Commission will convene in a Regular Meeting Monday, December 17, 2018, at 2:00 p.m.  The meeting will take place at the Grant County Veterans Memorial Conference Center, located at 3031 Highway 180 E., Silver City, NM 88061.  The agenda for this meeting may be altered up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meeting; copies can be obtained from the County Manager’s Office or viewed online at www.grantcountynm.com.
